Art critic Joël-Claude Meffre

Born March 26, 1963, in Mortsel, Belgium. Lives and works in Séguret since 2020.

“The Giant of Provence” is Herman the painter’s favorite subject. With passion, he captures its shape that dominates the landscape, its light and colors, from sheet to sheet, from canvas to canvas. Like Paul Cézanne, who tirelessly painted Mont Sainte-Victoire, his great master.
